The 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer represents a modern take on the subcompact SUV, offering bold styling and versatile capabilities. This refreshed model features a spacious cabin centered around an 11.3-inch infotainment screen. Positioned above the entry-level Chevrolet Trax, the Trailblazer competes directly with the Mazda CX-30, Volkswagen Taos, and Subaru Crosstrek in the subcompact SUV segment.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer is available in four trims: LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. The LS and LT trims come equipped with 17-inch aluminum wheels and LED daytime running lamps. The LT adds body-color side cladding to enhance its appearance. The ACTIV trim steps up to 18-inch machined aluminum wheels and includes a functional skid plate, titanium chrome-plated grille, and flared wheel arches. It also offers a two-tone roof option in Zeus Bronze Metallic or Summit White. The RS trim brings a performance-inspired appearance with 19-inch Dark Android-painted aluminum wheels, sport mesh grille with black Chevrolet bowtie emblem, dual-outlet exhaust with polished tips, and sport-inspired front and rear fascias.
Engine (Power)
The Trailblazer offers two engine choices. The LS and LT FWD models come standard with a 1.2L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine producing 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Continuous Variable Transmission. The ACTIV and RS trims, along with LT models optioned with AWD, feature a more powerful 1.3L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine delivering 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. This enhanced powerplant comes matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are compatible with E85 fuel, providing flexible fueling options.
Performance
With the 1.3L engine, the Trailblazer accelerates from 0-60 mph in 9.4 seconds. AWD models include a Driver Mode Selector with Normal, Snow, and Sport modes for enhanced capability in varying conditions. The ACTIV trim features off-road tuned suspension for improved performance on rough terrain, while the RS trim includes sport-tuned suspension for enhanced handling dynamics. All Trailblazer models maintain a 1,000-pound towing capacity. AWD versions of the ACTIV and RS trims also include a Sport terrain select mode for additional capability.
Interior
The Trailblazer provides 54.4 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. All models feature an 11.3-inch diagonal color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. LS and LT trims come with cloth seats, while ACTIV and RS trims upgrade to leather-appointed seating. Heated front seats are standard on LT, ACTIV, and RS models. The ACTIV and RS trims include an 8-inch digital driver information center. The RS trim features a flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel. Additional available features include Evotex trim upholstery and a heated steering wheel.
Safety Features
Every Trailblazer comes equipped with Chevy Safety Assist, including Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam Auto High Beam Assist. The LT, ACTIV, and RS trims offer available Adaptive Cruise Control. ACTIV and RS models add Rear Cross Traffic Alert, with an available HD Surround Vision Camera system. All trims include Teen Driver technology and an HD Rear Vision Camera for additional safety and security.
