Trim Levels (Exterior)
For the 2024 model year, the Chevrolet Colorado is available in five trims: the WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. The WT starts with 17-inch silver metallic steel wheels and 255/65R17 all-season blackwall tires. The LT upgrades to 17-inch aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires. Enhancements on the Trail Boss include 18-inch high-gloss black wheels featuring red accents and 32-inch all-terrain tires, complemented by a 2-inch factory suspension lift that provides 9.5 inches of ground clearance.
The Z71 rolls on 17-inch machined aluminum wheels wrapped in 32-inch all-terrain tires. At the top of the range, the ZR2 maximizes off-road performance with a 3-inch factory lift equipped with Multimatic dynamic suspension spool valve dampers, 33-inch mud-terrain tires, and specialized front and rear bumpers designed for improved approach and departure angles. All models come with LED headlights and daytime running lights.

Engine (Power)
The WT and LT utilize the 2.7-liter turbocharged engine, which generates 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. Powering the Z71 and Trail Boss is the 2.7-liter Turbo Plus engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The range-topping ZR2 receives the 2.7-liter Turbo High-Output engine, delivering 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. All engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
On the ZR1 and ZR2, the Colorado demonstrates a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds. The ZR2 offers five drive modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Off-Road, Terrain, and Baja, along with front and rear electronic locking differentials for superior traction control. The Baja mode enables high-speed desert running. While the WT and LT come standard with rear-wheel drive and optional four-wheel drive, the Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 include standard four-wheel-drive systems. Payload capacity reaches up to 1,580 pounds, varying by trim configuration.
Interior
The Colorado comes standard with an 11.3-inch diagonal center touch-screen. The Z71 and ZR2 models benefit from an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. The WT, LT, and Trail Boss have cloth seating surfaces, while the Z71 and ZR2 upgrade to leather-appointed seats. A sunroof is available on the LT, Z71, and ZR2.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is standard across the Colorado lineup. The interior dimensions provide 40.3 inches of front headroom and 38.3 inches in the rear. The front shoulder room measures 57.4 inches, while the rear shoulder room measures 56.1 inches. The hip room measures 54.7 inches in the front and 53.1 inches in the rear.

Every Colorado includes the Chevy Safety Assist package, featuring forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
