The standard transmission with this engine is a five-speed manual, however, you can opt for a continuously variable transmission. Fuel economy, as you can imagine, is amazing with the Spark. The automatic transmission will get you around 31/38 mpg, while the manual transmission will get you 29/39 mpg. If you get the Spark ACTIV trim, then your fuel economy will change to around 30/37 mpg with an automatic transmission, and 29/38 mpg with a manual.
What trims come with the 2018 Spark?
There are four trim levels offered with the 2018 Chevrolet Spark. The base Spark trim is the LS. The LS comes with a 4G LTE in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Chevrolet’s OnStar communications system, air conditioning, a four-speaker audio system, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability, a seven-inch touchscreen, and a rearview camera. The second trim option, 1LT, adds a 6-speaker audio system, fog lights, remote keyless entry, cruise control, power accessories, and 15-inch alloy wheels. The third trim level is called Activ, and includes a raised suspension, special 15-inch wheels and bodywork, roof rails, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and simulated leather seating surfaces. The highest trim level is called the 2LT. This trim includes chrome door handles and trim, heated front seats, an upgraded driver information display, push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, simulated seating surfaces, and rear parking sensors. The 1LT and 2LT trims can also add a sunroof, while the 2LT trim can be added with a Driver Confidence package.
