What engine power is available?
The base engine for the Corvette is a 6.2-liter V8 with a standard 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. When you add an active exhaust these numbers boost a little to 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. With the seven-speed manual transmission this engine gets a fuel economy rating of 16/25 miles per gallon and with the eight-speed automatic transmission, it reaches 15/26 miles per gallon. On the Z06 trim, you will find a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. When paired with the manual transmission this engine receives a fuel economy rating of 15/22 miles per gallon and with the automatic transmission it gets a rating of 13/23 miles per gallon. Every Corvette is rear-wheel drive.
What are the standard safety features?
Standard safety equipment across the board would include features like driver and passenger airbags, a passenger sensing system, cruise control, keyless open and start, lockout protection automatic locks, OnStar, a theft deterrent system, stability control, frontal and side impact airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, and all-speed traction control. What trim levels are available?
The trim levels available to the Chevrolet Corvette include the Stingray, Z51, Grand Sport, and the Z06. Three subtrims are available to every trim. The Stingray 1LT comes standard with Brembo brakes, xenon headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, OnStar, a nine-speaker Bose sound system, a power-adjustable steering wheel, LED running lights, leather upholstery, 19-inch tires, and keyless ignition and entry. The 2LT adds auto-dimming mirrors, a cargo shade, and heated and ventilated seats. The 3LT then adds navigation and premium leather upholstery. The Stingray Z51 adds larger front brakes, sportier suspension tuning, 20-inch rear wheels, a differential cooler, and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Grand Sport trim adds extra performance features like even larger brakes, adaptive dampers, upgraded suspension, and upgraded cooling system. The Z06 1LZ adds adaptive dampers, wider tires, a carbon fiber hood, expanded cooling vents, and a head-up display. Additional upgrades and features can be added through the Z07 package and additional solo options.
